Rocky - 9/2010-4/23/2012 I am so sorry we couldn't get to you sooner, before the cancer took over your little body. Cancer is a horrible disease but you never lost your sweet temperament, curiosity or spirit. I cling to the memories of you running around and playing with the other fosters and Eva and how happy you were when I came home running to the door jumping and twirling all around. I will always remember all the good times we had and how you always managed to make me laugh. You will be greatly missed and forever in my heart and I know someday I will see you again along with all the other pets that have touched my heart that have gone to the Rainbow Bridge. We miss you so much Rocky-poo, foster mom Cecilia and foster fur sister Eva.

Bentley, We brought you home after losing our beloved Bugsie. You lost your first owner, and found our family. We could see the sorrow in your eyes. You filled a void for Trixie and us too. How could we know that you would become so much more to us? How quickly you became such an integral part of our family. With your gentle ways and your sensitive nature, you won us over and eased our grief. You could be found, always by our side, except during a thunderstorm when you reluctantly retreated to your safe place, mommy's closet. Your greetings were special and we always knew you'd be at the front window to see each one of us off in the morning and to await our return each afternoon. You showered us with kisses and warmed our hearts with your soulful eyes. Your calm presence and loving demeanor saw us through the loss of Trixie and solidified the rescue way for us. As our first rescue, you paved the way for Bella and Rocco. You made us true believers and opened our eyes. We always felt that we were your caretakers for your beloved first owner and are so privileged to have had five wonderful years with you. What a joyful day for him when he got to see you again. We know you ran to him with fresh legs and bright eyes. How lucky he is to feel your warmth and kisses again. You brought so much to us and we will never be the same. Your chair sits vacant but our hearts are filled with your love. We will never forget you, Bentley, our special boy. We love you and look forward to the day when we will see you again. My Barkley Boy - thank you so much for the love you brought me at the time that I had lost so much. Ann called to tell me about you when I had just lost Baron who was my very first Boxer rescue....your name was Poker and I was sure it was much to soon to bring another dog into my life. How very wrong I was...she sent your picture and it was LOVE at first sight. Unfortunately you were with me too short a time....that horrible diagnosis of cancer came much too soon and I had only 9 weeks after the diagnosis....but you gave me so much love and taught me so much in the short time that I had with you....now you are waiting at The Rainbow Bridge with all my other Boxers and Bentley, Jazz, Bob and I will meet you there and we'll all be together again. Rest in Peace my Barkley Boy. Love from Mom!

Hannah

Hannah came into our household in 2007 from CBR. When she arrived from Animal Control she was severly underweight and had heartworms. She was welcomed into our house by our two dogs and four cats and eventually got back into good health and spirit. While there was a few struggles for power in the dog hierarchy in the beginning, Hannah began to accept the "good life" and settled into being an incredible dog. With the arrival of our first child, Hannah became the perfect dog to have with a child, protective yet not over curious. I can't say how many times we have had the conversation of how good Hannah has always been with our entire family, fur or not. Hannah was another perfect CBR rescue dog that resulted in a foster failure. We could not imagine giving her up soon after she arrived. She will be missed. We are happy in our hearts that CBR was involved in her rescue and that we were able to give her the love and good life she deserved for the second half of her life. Joe Boxer

Joe Boxer 1/13/2004 -6/21/2011 Joe Boxer came to us on October 7, 2006. We rescued him from CBR and he was barely 40 lbs/all skin & bones. He came to us as a foster but we 'failed foster' and adopted him. There was something special in his eyes that said he belonged with us. After a lot of love and care he became the big beautiful boxer boy that we all knew and loved. He was the smartest dog I have ever met and the best cuddler in bed, on the couch, and wherever he decided to lay down. He had 'human eyes' and I swear he could read my mind. JOE BOXER is at peace now and I miss him more than words can say. Time may heal and things may get easier, but I will miss my dog forever and a piece of my broken heart is with him. Roxie

I met Roxie at the Edgewater FL Animal Shelter on January 14, 2010. I went to make a car run for another boxer and met her by chance. It was also the day my ex-husband almost died in a motorcycle accident. If Roxie had not been taken by me that Thursday, she would have been put down the following Monday if not adopted over the weekend. Thus began our odyssey under those Life or Death circumstances. All I knew about her is that she had not gone crazy during her 2 months in the shelter, and she liked cats. Had her life ended then, she would have been just another animal statistic in the vast annals of Boxer history. On our first ride together, I sang some hymns, she liked Amazing Grace best, but told me she didn't like it when I sang anything too up tempo. I knew for sure then she had Soul. A small part of her story lives through The Rejected Ones published by Long Story Short on May 7, 2011 (My sister's birthday); and she died May 22, 2011(that same ex-husband's birthday.) But she was so much more. Her picture, taken in her latter days, was her classic Princess pose in her fave chair, her abdomen swollen by failing liver and kidneys, but I will remember her for the pose and that she died the good girl she had become, not the bad girl she had appeared at the beginning. Back then there was food aggression, many vet visits, and her ferocious growling and snarling at every human or dog passerby. Slamming herself against my screen door trying to get at those unwitting victims. But she liked the cats, so we persevered. In time, she came to like people, didn't interfere with my other boxer Gabe and his space; and I found that the more respect I gave her opinion, the more trust she gave me. She was a smart intuitive boxer with a bad rap, and she was a mix. Mixed with what God only knows, but the vet and I later suspected it was Chow, and that didn't help the situation. Time has it's own way of healing, and slowly the best of Roxie was revealed and she was her best and trusting self on the last day. I will never forget telling the vet and staff to treat our last visit like any other so she wouldn't suspect the end. He put in an IV to make the last shot faster, and as she felt the sensation of slipping away, she looked right at me asking if this was the way it was supposed to be...and by the time I had said words of comfort she was gone. Her journey over in its own good time: a good girl to the end. I will remember all of the dog ways she taught me in our 16 months, all the loyalty she gave in perceived defense of home and hearth. How she. Gabe and I drove to Vermont and back in August of 2011 and how she sat right next to my mother within minutes of their first meet. My mom is not dog people. Roxie trusted no one, but she knew I loved my mom and that was good enough for her. My people were her people, my home her home. Roxie did not succumb to being ruled over; but instead became my compatriot and partner. Rejection became acceptance and with Trust we had an easy two way street. I will always be glad I took a chance on her that day in January. I will remember the boxer who never wagged her tail, became happy and smiling in our time together. Our joke is: when we meet again at the Rainbow Bridge...it will be the first time in her life that Roxie will come when she is called. Then she will invite me in and show me her territory.

Kallie

We lost our best friend today and I don’t know why. Her name was Kallie and she came into our lives about two years ago. My girlfriend wanted to get another dog (we already had a small poodle mix) and I really didn’t think it was a good idea at the time. We knew we were moving soon and it seem like it would be better to wait. She wanted to get a Boxer because she owned one before and raved about what neat dogs they are. I have only owned mutts and Dobermans and was not sure I would like a Boxer. Audrey continued to look at dogs on Boxer Rescue and showed me many of them on the web. She knew that I was a dog person and knew that I would fall in love with a Boxer. She showed a picture of Callie and said this is the dog I want and we are getting her. I was concerned that she may have problems that we could not handle being that she was a rescue. The appointment was set for us to go and meet Callie in West Palm and off we went. When we arrived at her foster home she went crazy letting her foster parent know that there were strangers at the door. When we went into the house Kallie continued to let us know she had an eye on us. My first thought was this dog is not going to trust us and one of us could end up bitten. I watched her as we visited with her foster parent and began to notice how pretty a dog she was and she had these brindle markings that you really did not see in the pictures, they almost looked like tiger stripes. Her foster parent said that she was not real friendly towards men and it would take some time for her to trust me. We then went outside to see if she would play with one of us. Well I grabbed her favorite rope and gave it a toss for her to fetch and she brought it right back to me. To the surprise of her foster parent Kallie seems to be warming up to me very quickly, it was the start of a great friendship. I have been lucky that most dogs seem to know that I am a dog person and we become friends quickly. We took Kallie home that day and I was so excited about this dog becoming part of our family. Boxer Rescue had put some weight on her because she was really skinny when they got her. We learn about her history and did not like what we heard or read in her medical records. Our goal was to put some more weight on her and give her a loving home that would allow her to forget about the earlier part of her life. Kallie became good friends with our other dog Maya and was very protective of her and the rest of the family for that matter. If a friend came over that she had not met before they had to gain her approval. How did you know you had her approval? Well you had to pass the sniff test and only then she would bring you her rope. One of the things we learn about her past was that she was kept in her crate most of the time so she wanted nothing to do with the crate we had for her. Her prior owner also so had her on all sorts of drugs that she did not need. Boxer Rescue had taken her off all the drugs and we did not put her back on any. We would put her toys or treats in her crate so she would have to go in to get them and she learn that it was ok because we left the crate door open so she could come right back out. We put a nice orthopedic dog mattress in her crate, by the end of the first year she was ok with her bed and would take naps in it during the day. Of course when given the ok she would prefer to sleep in the bed with us. She also gained 8 more pounds with us. Audrey was right, Boxers are great dogs and Kallie stole my heart from day one. I wish I could put in words how much happiness Kallie gave me. No matter what a bad day I may be having as we all do sometimes, spending just a few moments with her would cheer me up. We became great friends and I looked forward to seeing her every day after work, I really loved that dog. She was the best. I just don’t understand how anyone could have mistreated her in the past or any dog for that matter. I am not sure how we are going to fill the void that she has left but I suspect that once we have had time to heal we will try to give another rescue Boxer a good home. Maya lost her buddy also so we have to make sure she will be ok. The Vet just called as I am writing this to tell us that Kallie died of heart failure, something that she probably had from birth. He said it was common in Boxers and Dobermans. It was sudden and Audrey found her as it was happening so she did get to see someone that loved her before she passed on. This was very hard for me to write and I know those of you that have lost a pet know how Audrey and I feel right now. I have enclosed some pictures of Kallie and her pet humans. Some of the pictures were when we first got her so she was still skinny in those. What a great dog she was.

You, dear boy have given us so many wonderful memories over the years! Your goofiness, "lip tacos", jumping into the canal to help a foster pup. Chasing all the boats away......always going on the Cocoa Beach Boat Patrol boat when the Officiers stopped to visit (they loved you too)! Sam and Abbey miss you so much.....they don't know what to do without their leader "Gus-Gus". Your house is not as silly as it was with you here with us! Jasper

It is with profound sorrow and sadness that I must report Jasper died about 1230 today. At least he was doing something he loved at the time. Because now I only have partial use of my left arm and walk with a pronounced limp I have not been able to walk Jasper as much as he would have liked. But, this morning with the sun shining for the first time in several days, I decided to at least walk him the length of our street (only 2 tenths of a mile.) He had the fun of marking many places as we amble along and even managed a stool but, as we neared the end of the street he stopped, stood there looking sad and then first sat and then lay down. I knocked on the door of a house there and asked them to get me the Island Animal Hospital number. I called and they came and picked Jasper up, put him in the SUV and took him to the hospital. When they left he was standing in the SUV so I was hopeful about the outcome. When I got home the doctor called and said he had died right after an EKG which showed myocardial fibrillation. To say Marion and I are heartbroken is a major understatement. He was the kindest, loving-est, best behaved fellow we have ever had and he has left a tremendous hole in both our hearts. I, especially, am missing him already because wherever I go, to the bathroom, the mail box, to bring in trash barrels, or do anything he was always right beside me. Except for Marion, I would have come home and ended it all. With GREAT sadness, Steve, Marion, and,unfortunately, no Jasper

Ally

Ally was our first boxer and some boxer she was! Ally was every four legged family member we ever had, wrapped up in one little petite package. She was a sister, a daughter, a protector, a playmate and a work companion. She also did a wonderful job teaching her boxer brother. Our little one was simply a lovable little girl that we have missed since the moment she passed. Our family is grateful for the years we got to share with her. She was absolutely wonderful. Tyson - Back in 2003 when I was going through the pages of the Florida Boxer Rescue's available dogs I would click, look and then go to the next dog. Although the dogs were boxers and they were cute and their stories were touching, they didn't seem "right"... until I came to your picture. Your eyes called out to me through the picture. I met you in Port St Lucie and I immediately knew you were the ONE. You have been the ONE for us for the next 8 years....the ONE that made us laugh at your silly antics, the ONE that turned our hearts to mush when you turned those big brown eyes on us and the ONE that made friends go wow when they heard you say that ONE special word that you learned which was Mama. Alyssa lost her best friend last night and I lost my shadow and constant side kick. You brought Alyssa such joy...she made you wear funny things and pose funny and you were so patient waiting for her to finish taking your pictures. I would hear her laughing and go into her bedroom and there would be another wig on your head or fairy wings on your back. Tyson we love you and we miss you. Your Mama Jill and Sissy Alyssa.

Boxer Rescue brought Makita into our family 7yrs ago. She was our first boxer we ever had, when we got married she was our ring bearer. 1yr. ago she was diagnosed with lymphoma she spent 1yr bravely fighting the cancer going to all her chemo appointments with that big boxer smile. We lost our ANGEL his month, Makita will always be our first Boxer ANGEL. Boxer Rescue helped bring our family together, we will always have a place in our hearts for those whom brought us together. This is Sugar on her last day. It was a happy one, for her. At the end I told her, "just one more shot and all your pain will be gone" She gave me all her trust that I would love her and do the right Thing for her. IBD is a horrible disease, but Sugar never lost her sweet temperment, her curiosity, her spirit. She gave life and me all that she had right to the end even when her body was failing. I cling to the memories of her running round the shed, a tight round circle about a square object; her enthusiastic greetings at the door. Sugar was the standard, surpassing my expectations and then some. She was the Perfect Dog. Our time together was just short of 4 months but she forever changed my life for the better. It is my hope that I gave her a good life to make up for all the bad she suffered before, wiping that slate clean, and writing Love and Acceptance to fill her needy soul in the time she had remaining. She deserved nothing less than my absolute best in return for all she gave me. She will be greatly missed forever in my heart; and Lord willing I will someday see her at the Rainbow Bridge with other pets I have known and loved, pain free and ready to run.

Pepa

Pepa came into our life in January 2002. She was about 9 weeks old and she was the most adorable puppy I had ever seen. The pup had more energy and personality than a Washington politician. She immediately became the center of our world. She quickly learned to sleep in her bed and potty training was a fairly simple task. However, Pepa did her a mind of her own... and did I say a lot of energy. She was a very busy little girl whenever she was left alone. I had never used a crate with any dog; however, many of my friends suggested using one. One day prior to having the crate, we put her in the kitchen and blocked the doorway with a large piece of furniture. We left her food, water, toys, a blanket, and plenty of space to use the bathroom if we did not make it back quick enough. To our surprise when we came home, Pepa was standing in the middle of our dining room table, waging her tail and excited to see us. She had been a very busy young lady. She had chewed my tennis racket, read and shredded all my magazines, covered our floor with toilet paper and simply made herself at home. This was only one of many adventures of her puppy days. As she matured, she became the most loving, obedient, and incredibly smart friend I have ever had. Pepa went with us everywhere. She loved the beach so we would take her for the weekend to Sanibel where she was free to run and play on the beach. Unfortunately on September 12, 2009 her beautiful life came to an end leaving us completely empty and broken hearted. She became the victim of spleen cancer and after a very successful surgery and recovery she was again consumed by tumors which took over her body and left her weak and bleeding internally. With no other avenue, we had to make the most difficult decision we had ever had to make to put my best friend, the best companion loyal friend anyone could wish to have in their life to sleep. Even at the end Pepa looked into my eyes and wagged her tail as she was slipping into a deep sleep. I will never forget her and the happiness she brought to our life. Marlene and Diane

Renzo

On September 12, 2009 we lost our beautiful girl Pepa to spleen cancer. After several weeks of complete devastation, we began to look at the possibility of adopting a puppy. After several friends mentioned Boxer Rescue to me, I started to explore the website looking at the many sad stories of animals that are rescued by this amazing organization. I proceeded to complete an application and on November 6, 2009 a beautiful 8 week old baby boy became available. He had been surrendered at the Animal Control and he appeared to be in good health other than suffering from kennel cough and round worms. Boxer Rescue saved his life and treated him for both ailments. A photo of this beautiful baby boxer was all we needed to fall in love with him and decide we would adopt him. We met Renzo which is what we decided to name him. He was full of energy and very thin. We took him home and he soon started eating and enjoying his life with us. We were in love again and the death and pain we had suffered after Pepa's death was slowly more manageable the more he allowed us to get to know him. He was the most beautiful creature anyone could have in their life. He insisted in sleeping with us and he would place his face on my neck and sleep next to me all night. I was in love!!! We introduced him to our family and everyone felt for the charisma and beauty of this pup. A week into getting Renzo, he started to have diarrhea which we attributed to the treatment for worms, then he started vomiting one day non-stop. We took him to the vet and he received medication for both things. He got better and began to eat and play again. Then one morning we noticed he had runny eyes and nose. However, he remained the playful excited little boy he had always been so we did not worry about it. Shortly after that the reality that we were dealing with something more serious became a blunt and hard reality. Renzo began to have seizures. They were initially short and not too severe. We quickly took him to the vet and we were told they suspected he was suffering with distemper. We were surprised as he had been vaccinated at the State Animal Control. However, his seizures continued to get harder and more frequent. After 48 hours without sleep and with the obvious fate staring at us that he was getting worse we again had to make the decision to put this beautiful puppy to sleep. Even though Renzo was only with us for three short weeks, we were devastated by his passing. The Boxer Rescue volunteer was outstanding during this entire process; she provided support and understanding during our painful journey into Renzo's last days. Our little man was taken too soon!! Such an untimely death, such a loss. There is no doubt he would have made an amazing companion, and friend. We Miss You terribly Renzo. I am sure you are running around in heaven with your sister Pepa. Until we meet again....... Marlene and Diane

King

July 3, 2009 - King Today we lost our gentle giant. We picked up King almost two years ago with another foster in Jupiter, Buddha. I took one look at him in the parking lot and my jaw nearly dropped to the ground, he was HUGE, 110lbs! We brought them home 7 months after losing our beautiful Apollo. While Buddha found her forever home very quickly, King endured several weeks recovering from neutering and removal of a large mass on his leg which they found was wrapped around an artery and malignant. We finally took King home, nursed his wounds and loved him everyday with all our hearts. He hopped around when mealtime came and loved to lay in the yard and feel the warm sun on his coat. He rolled over and enjoyed a belly rub and snored loud enough to rattle the windows. He was a sweet, kind old soul that just went with the flow. We are the lucky ones for being in the right place at the right time and having the chance to spend the rest of his life with him. We'll love you forever, until we meet again!

I am so sorry we couldn't get to you sooner, before life had taken its toll. We will all remember your good times, as you definitely could make people laugh. I will always have you in my heart and I know you are at peace now.

This sweet baby endured far more than any animal should have to. He fought valiantly against parvo but his little body just couldn't handle any more. I am so blessed to have been able to spend your last couple hours holding you until you were ready to go. You have truly touched alot of lives in your short time here through your bravery and sprit. Luna

Our little Luna. She was such a sweety. We only had her a short while when she grew to enjoy the love and affection and being with us wherever we were! Luna would return the affection with a 'huggie'...she'd wrap her front paws around your neck and give you a hug. She loved to sleep on top of a pile of blankets, or pile of clothes waiting to be laundered! Luna was definitely a little princess. She did not like walking in high grass, and would avoid water in the road by jumping over it or forcing us to walk around a puddle too large to jump. Ty-Ty was my little buddy who lit up my life. If I had two words to describe him, they would be HAPPY and HILARIOUS, though there aren't enough words to describe this bundle of joy and love. I am so thankful that I was chosen to share the last two years of his life, though he was taken from me too soon. I miss him every single second. He filled my home with so much energy. Tyson and I had a bond that will never be replaced. He made me laugh everyday with what I call Tys-isms and snuggled with me every night. Roxie, our beautiful Roxie doodle, you were our first rescue dog and you taught us so much about getting involved and saving as many unwanted pets as we can. We first met you at the Deland kennel and you were so thin, heartworm positive and had a cardiac murmur. I wasn't sure I was ready for another boxer, so you convinced Jim with your kisses and wiggles that we should take you home. Once home you were 100% my dog. You loved to lay in the sun and played endlessly with Ruby who joined us a few months after you did. You brought our family so much joy Roxie. This past year you courageously battled a number of ailments and ultimately lost the battle to brain cancer. But Roxie, you never gave up. I can't even begin to express the emptiness we feel in our hearts. We had six and half years with you, but would have given anything to keep you forever. Jonah came to us on a cold, rainy day, full of boxer wiggles and kisses. A shy and timid young boxer boy, but with the help of his boxer brother and sister he soon grew into a proud and happy guy. Jonah was happiest chasing bugs in the backyard or proving he could tug a rope harder than anyone else. Even through all the long and hard struggles, he always showed pure boxer courage. Jonah, we are sorry your forever home was so short lived. There will forever be a home in our hearts for you. Kendra came into out lives in 1999 through Boxer rescue. The very second we saw her picture on the website we knew she was ours and we were hers.We had the most fun spoiling her before we had our daughter. The day we brought our daughter home from the hospital, Kendra was there to welcome her.They became BFF's. Kendra went everywhere with us and we continued to spoil her.She made us laugh all the time and never complained or asked for anything except for love, which we were all too happy to give her. Even the morning that she went to rest, she was wanting to play. That was so like her too. In all the years we had her, she never barked, but she loved to rough-house with her "Chuckie". There is a tremendous emptiness in our hearts and home right now. I know what we did was for the best for our dear girl. We would never let her suffer even though we are suffering now. My daughter had called her "waggiebutt" when she started talking and the name just stuck. Crossed to the Rainbow Bridge on June 28th, 2007 Lance was my Groucho Marx. He had the abilities to make me laugh, everyday, numerous times a day, even if I wanted to cry! Through his loving, kind and indomitable spirit I learned that you don't stop - keep going with a smile - it'll be okay. He never stopped, even when he was going through his chronic illness and pain he continued to bring joy, smiles and love. You touched many people in your short time on earth and will be long and much missed. Peace to you Lancy-Po. Run free and be healthy, my good friend and furry child, until we meet again. Farewell to Ellie Belle, You were the senior girl noboby wanted. You have proven to everyone that you are never too old to adopt a boxer. You spent almost a year in rescue before you found your final forever home with a couple in their senior years themselves. Your new mommy & daddy were close to 90 themselves and all they wanted was a boxer to love & cherish. You were the lifeline for your mommy when she lost her husband within 6 months of giving you a loving home. Always at her side but never jumping up to hurt her. Never rushing past her when she was in the wheelchair or using her walker. Lying beside her bed at night to keep her safe and secure. You battled with your cancer for a long time. Survived the masectomy and never lost your love of life and the people who surrounded you. We knew it was time to say our prayers and wish you a blessed farewell when it became clear that you were struggling to breathe. Even in those last few minutes you were full of love & kisses. We will always love you and have a special corner of our heart reserved for you and the memories you gave us. Herb, Gerry & Ellie

Even though he was 13, I knew this day would eventually come, I can't seem to believe he's no longer here. He was the most amazing dog, perpetually happy, always empathetic. He knew exactly what I needed, when I needed love and never took no for an answer. Those of you who knew him, know exactly what I mean. His spirit was the purest I've ever known and my heart aches without him. The Rainbow Bridge inspired by a Norse legend By the edge of a woods, at the foot of a hill, Is a lush, green meadow where time stands still. Where the friends of man and woman do run, When their time on earth is over and done. For here, between this world and the next, Is a place where each beloved creature finds rest. On this golden land, they wait and they play, Till the Rainbow Bridge they cross over one day. No more do they suffer, in pain or in sadness, For here they are whole, their lives filled with gladness. Their limbs are restored, their health renewed, Their bodies have healed, with strength imbued. They romp through the grass, without even a care, Until one day they start, and sniff at the air. All ears prick forward, eyes dart front and back, Then all of a sudden, one breaks from the pack. For just at that instant, their eyes have met; Together again, both person and pet. Spike, we adopted you when you were about 4 years old. Florida Boxer Rescue brought us together...we went to see another dog that was being fostered at the same house...a younger flashy fawn. Dylan was 3 1/2 and Savannah was 5...the younger boxer was a little wild with the kids. You were there and although you had a hard life until we met...your personality and gentleness with the kids won us over...we took you that day with your bad hips, heartworm problems, skinny frame & all your drool. You were the king of the house...for you meant that we had actually had a house for the first time...no more apartments, a home. Spike, you were there when our first baby went to school.. you walked with us that morning...you were there when we brought Kyla home...you sniffed her, gave her a lick and went back to laying down. This time though you went wherever she was and planted yourself firmly between the baby and anyone who came close. You went on a road trip to NY last year and were so good...you loved the real grass and no humidity of Sept in upstate NY. Every time I stepped out of bed you were at my feet...whenever I came home you were at the other side of the door...now I open the door and only your little buddy Scrappy waits for me...he seems a little lost too.....we all do...your were the man...and I will always love you...I miss you already. To My Boxer Angel Candee, You Broke my Heart when you took it with you. Never did I think you were going to leave me. We still had things to do, walks to go on, and talks at night to talk. Candee you were the most Presious Angel girl to me. I would never have recovered from that surgery if you had not been by my side. What a precious Nurse you were, always watching that I was ok. I miss you more than words can say, and talk to you every day, and Kiss your picture several times a day. Please wait for me as you are going to go with me when it is my time, so we can Always be together. Aunty Ann says you sent me Maggie. Thank you Candee, she is very Sweet and has the most soft Beautiful eyes. I'm starting to love her, as of yet I can't She is a Big girl, you were my lil peanut, but you both weigh the same. I'm sorry for what Dr. Sharon did to you, I don't go to her anymore, she was not worthy of your love & trust. Please watch out for Maggie, as she might have a bad ear due to abuse. Help guide me to to the right thing. Please drop in for a "talk, and a visit. I still need to see you. The pain of your loss is terrible. I'm trying not to cry so much. You made me so happy from the moment you walked into your new home, until you had to go. I will love you until I die, and then we will be together forever. I can't wait to see you again. Bindi was my spectacular Gentle Giant.She graced my life with intense happiness, enriching every moment, every day. Bindi came into my life when I needed her most,She help regain my strength, and brought so much emotion into my Heart. I was Blessed to have been given the chance, to experience, all that Bindi had to offer.Bindi, will for-ever remain one of God's greatest gifts to me. I am forever grateful. Every moment was a cherished moment with Bindi.She over-came many health obstacles, and had the strength of a soldier.My most cherished memories of Bindi Sue are her sun-bathing sessions, in the glory of the sun each and every morning, and the daily go-baby-go, running sessions with her brother Beaux ( The Curious Catahoula ) I have Bindi not only in my Heart, But here with me. In memory of Bindi, she has a special memorial brick at the Peggy Adams Foundation, West Palm Beach, Florida. It is a special, tranquil place, I know she would adore. She is at peace, for-ever in my Heart!
