Notes: Hi. My name is Cody and I am a great Boxer boy - everyone who meets me tells me so. And of course, my foster Mom & Dad too. I have been with them since March. I have this bone disease called Hypertrophic Osteodystrophy (HOD). It is a disease that makes your joints swell and really hurt bad. I was on a lot of pain meds before, but not any more. I feel great - I run, I can get up on the couch, and I play with all my foster brothers and sisters. The only thing is, I am a little crooked. I have outgrown the disease, but I am not perfect. I guess some people would say I am deformed, but it does not hinder me in the least bit. I walk well on a leash, am crate-trained (with coaxing and a cookie), get along well with others and love people. I am almost fully housebroken - still working on that one. I could not walk or even stand on my own when I was sick, so I had to depend on my foster parents to carry me outside and hold me up to take care of business. My foster Mom says I am getting better. I am ready to go to my forever home...could that be you?
