Hello, my name is Chester Alex and I am a rescue dog with Coastal Boxer Rescue. People tell me I am about 10 years old, but I try daily to convince them I am much younger than that.
I live with my foster family, and boy are we busy! I have a foster mom and dad, plus a younger sister and brother. I also have 2 fur buddies. There is Sally, another boxer, and Thackery Binx, the cat.
I get along with everyone in the house, but my favorite is my girlfriend Sally! I love to snuggle with her. We sleep together in mom and dad's room at night and in the daytime, I like to crawl into her kennel with her. We also love, love, love to play! And we are good at it too!
I am not much of a kisser but I am a 60 pound lap dog. If someone is on the couch, I will climb up there and put most of my body in their lap. This includes the kids too and I weigh much more than they do. But they don't seem to mind and I even get my ears scratched. I also have this other thing I do. If your foot is sticking out, because you are sitting down and your legs are crossed or you have the couch foot rest up, I will put my body over your feet so my belly is just right for rubbing.
My family has a nickname for me, Piggy, because I have this cute snort. And back to the part about me being younger. Though they say I am older and they used this word I didn't like the sound of, cancer, mom says you would never guess it. Though I might not have the energy of Sally, who is only 2 years old, I can keep up with her. My nubby is always wagging and mom even got a video of me in the backyard that she was super excited about! I was playing with dad and Sally and in the video I am running around, smiling, and jumping all four paws off the ground when I was chasing dad. Then I pinned Sally to the ground. And that happens all the time. I don't know why this makes mom and dad laugh so much. I just think it's fun!
I also have my own facebook page with lots of pictures and videos. My foster mom is having so much fun with it and is super excited to show off how handsome I am!
